We can only be as happy as we allow ourselves to be.
“Most folks are about as happy as they make up their minds to be” – A. Lincoln

Chamber music and Lied pianist
The will for devoting my life to music, and in particular to piano, started early in my childhood when my older sister decided to initiate herself into this instrument in the Municipal School of Music of Lleida (Spain), my hometown. A couple of years later, I also started my piano courses, as well as my cello “amateur” studies at th age of 12.
On 2019 I concluded my Bachelor in Music Performance in ESMUC – Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (Barcelona, Spain), specializing in Classic and Contemporary Piano, under the mentorship of Xavier Barbeta. My Bachelor’s Final Thesis was a deep study of the life, compositions and musical taste of Mr. William Sterndale Bennett, a forgotten English composer from the 19th Century, under the supervision of Luca Chiantore.

On 2021 I concluded my Solo Performance Master in Codarts (Rotterdam, the Netherlands), where I studied under the mentorship of Bart van de Roer. During the academic year 2020-2021, I was in an Erasmus+ in Sibelius Akatemia (Helsinki, Finland), where I studied with Teppo Koivisto.
During the years 2019-2021 I wrote my Master’s Thesis “How to read between the lines” – The concept of freedom in the beginning of the XXth Century performances: based on a case study about Ignacy Jan Paderewski, under the mentorship of Federico Mosquera.

I am currently studying in ZHdK (Zürcher Hochschule der Künste) my Master Specialized in Chamber Music and Lied Design, under the mentorship of Christoph Berner. Previously, I had the pleasure to study chamber music with Kennedy Moretti and Quartet Casals during my years in Barcelona, as well as Lied with Francisco Poyato, Alan Branch and Margarida Natividade (Barcelona), Ilmo Ranta and Keval Shah (Helsinki).

Music is an universal language. And it’s worth learning to understand the world, and sometimes, to even get to know yourself better. Through music you can have fun, you can express your emotions, you can make art! I try to encourage my students to find their own sound, to love what they play on the piano, and to embrace music with all its beauty. Let’s meet each other 🙂
